Just a warning, this will likely turn into a downer rant that really is just me complaining. Read at your own risk.

Hoooo. Where to begin.

So my best friend got married two days ago and I graduated yesterday.
Things are moving pretty fast for me at the moment, which is something that always makes me freak out a bit.

I like things to move slowly, it lets me look it over, figure out what’s going on, and plan on what I need to do. Right now though it’s all just going too fast. We’re constantly going every which way, things happening every day, if not having several things in a single day.

And there’s a small side effect to all of this, the fact that things moving fast makes me worry about the future. Should I be finding a job now? Can I wait till after college? After Summer? Do I already need one? What’s my family’s money like? Are we doing okay? Better then okay? Barely surviving? Am I doing the right thing? Am I just fooling myself? All these worries just flood my mind, overtake my thoughts.

Normally when I get to feeling like this, what I is draw close. I pull closer to one of my friends, talk to them, spill my heart, take solace in the fact that I do have something steady, something sure, to hold onto. Right now though…I can’t.

The three people I would have drawn close to just half a year ago…Well, if you remember a couple of posts back, you know what happened to them. The next three after that are all unavailable right now. One just got married, so he has his own wife and life to contend with at the moment. The other is caught up in the same cyclone of life as me, they’re too busy for me to have the time to speak with them right now. The third one would just be too awkward after something that happened not too long ago.

So…now what? I feel the need to pull close to someone, but don’t have anyone to draw close to at the time. I can’t just pull close to someone I barely know, not again, but the people I would pull to are too busy at the moment…

Welcome to the ask blog of the Pokemon cast of “The Journal”. Feel free to submit questions for text…

For those of you who have read or at least know of my Fanfic “The Journal”, I have started an Ask Blog staring the four Pokemon that are the main Pokemon of Chris’s; Lucas, Lara, Iris, and Twilla.

My little world

If you met me in person, you probably couldn’t tell that I’m quite the nut case. Depression, Aspergers, very introverted, it really doesn’t show when I’m out in public, talking to people and generally seeming like a very social person. What a lot of people don’t see is when I get home and head up to feed the horses, where I quietly do my daily routine with them and enjoy the peace, the quiet, and the space away from other people.

Don’t get me wrong, I like being social. I enjoy talking to people and hearing what they have to say (so long as they’re polite, but that’s a rant for another time) because everyone has something they enjoy and to hear someone talk about what they like is a special treat. I enjoy playing video games with friends as well, whether it’s Resident Evil 5 with one friend in person or League of Legends with four over Skype or a group of ten or more all taking turns playing Brawl. I even enjoy heading into town and looking around the book stores or game stores. When I meet people I know, I’ll talk and joke for a while until it’s time to go. Again, you could say I’m a social butterfly.

That said, being with people tires me out. I like being with people, but it drains me a bit. Possibly more then I enjoy company, I also enjoy peace and quiet. Taking it slow and having my time to look over something before having to respond. That could be one reason I prefer text chatting to voice chat services like Skype and enjoy smaller groups to larger ones. I just enjoy being in my quiet little world…

What about all of you out there? Do you all prefer being in your own little worlds like me? Or do you prefer the more hectic side of life?

In lue of any worthwhile posts, I give you some half a year old stories that where originally going to be a longer story, but ended up getting replaced with a different story. Here ya go. :3

Darkness…

Pitch black, silent darkness surrounded me on every side, only the rustling of my own chains offered any reminder of life. They blind folded me in fear that even my gaze could be a deadly weapon, bound each hand to the floor to try to hold me in check They really have no idea of how much power I have if they think this will keep me from escaping. The only thing keeping me in this cell, waiting for my trail, is me.

I know what happened; I remember it as clear as day. Kinda impossible to forget something as horrible as what I did. I can still see the destruction I caused, hear the worried cries. I know the panic, the shear confusion I caused. It’s no wonder I’m bound, held under lock and key. I’m a threat; not just to others, but myself as well

My thoughts were broken by the oddest sound; footsteps. Strong, deliberate footsteps, growing louder each time as a low beep filled my cell, the first alert in a week that another person was entering the room. My body remains stiff as the person enters the room, drumming their fingers on the door frame as he looks at me.

We stayed silent for several minutes before he sighs. “Why are you still here?” he asks, exasperated as if I’ve done something stupid, “You know this isn’t your fault. And we both know that you could be out of this cell in a second by just telling the truth.”

“Maybe,” I reply as I tug lightly on the cuffs on my wrists, “But it’s my fault nonetheless. Shouldn’t I be punished for that?”

He mumbles quietly to himself as I hear him walk a slow circle around me before stopping in front of me again. “So you’d give it all up? Give up on everything?”

I smile softly as I tilt my head up. “If I am as innocent as you think, then I’ll be fine, right?”

I hear him breath in, about to speak again, but he stops himself, pausing to think. Whether it’s doubt or worry, he lets the subject drop without another word, instead moving to another when he starts again. “You’re stronger than this. You’ve been such a deep part of the community for so long, you-“

“It doesn’t matter,” I say, cutting him off.

He stops himself, as if he was startled by what I said. He breathed deeply for several seconds before speaking again. “This wasn’t your fault.”

“It was,” I said in a solemn voice now solemn as I feel a tear slide down my cheek, “Trust me…it was.”

More silence fills the room as he takes in my statement. “I can talk to her,” he starts, his voice quiet, “maybe I can talk her out of this…” his voice trails off into a low mumble.

I slowly shake my head, the chains rattling as I do. “Don’t…” I say, my voice now monotone and hollow, “I deserve whatever punishment she chooses.”

“Fine,” he says in a stern voice, “Sit in this cell and rot. Let all of us down for your stupid ideals.” he quietly pads out of the cell, slamming the door closed behind him as he exits.

I know he’s gone, but I speak aloud anyway. “If I don’t have my ideals…Then I don’t have me…” I feel those sad drips of water slide down my cheek as I drop my head. “And if I don’t have me…Then he’ll win.”

The young woman stood amongst the ruble of the fallen buildings, scanning the now ruined square. She sighed bitterly as she toyed with the taser in her hand, the soft footfalls making her uneasy as she swivels to see who was approaching. She relaxed slightly at sight of the armored figure, his lance gripped tight as he prodded a broken sign with the tip of the spear. She turned back to the sorrowful sight as the armor clad figure stepped up to her side.

“How much was lost,” the figure said dryly in a still, masculine voice. She pulled a tattered map from her pocket, several small portions of it marked in red with three bits of black dotted within it. “Red received some damage,” she said in a calm, soft voice, “Nothing too bad; some ruined windows, damaged roads. Black though…” she folded the map back up before walking several steps forward to the wreckage of the square that spanned just over a block. Shattered glass crunched beneath her shoes as she walked through the destruction.

“I can’t believe…” The armor figured whispered under his breath, pausing as he ground his teeth in frustration. “No one could,” the woman said mournfully, “I still can’t believe it…” The armor clad boy turned towards her, his orange eyes peering through his helmet in a confused glare. “Then why is he locked up?” She shook her head before sitting down on a large chunk of the demolished welcome sign as she stared at the ruins. “He confessed.”

The armored boy gazed down the hole as he contemplated her response, then shook his head. “He only confessed because he thinks it’s his ‘fault’,” the boy sighed, “we both know he could never really do this.” The woman wiped the sleeve of her coat across her eyes, trying again to swallow the tears that threatened to consume her over the loss of the place she had created. “Tell me, what do we have?” she asked, causing him to pause for a moment before she answered herself, “We have a terrified populous, an attack on the site, almost no clues as to who really did this, and his confession.” She looked back at the boy, eyes clearly worried, “What was I supposed to do?”

The boy stood in silence, the dull, grey ash settling over his emerald armor before it was cast off as he turned to walk away. “You could be trying to find the real culprit.” The woman shakes her head as the armor clad boy left, a gentle ringing from her phone catching her attention. She quickly pulled a phone from her pocket, pulling it to her ear before speaking. “Anything?” she asked sadly. She listened for several moments before sighing, “If he would just talk…” She clicked the phone off, gazing back at the destruction before her. “If he’d just tell us what really happened…”
